WSSN
- World Standard Services Network
Contact
information
Please read this first to understand how to locate the
right contact information for your purposes ...
WSSN is not an organization. WSSN is a collaborative initiative
to link, directly or indirectly, the independent Web sites of the various international,
regional and national standardizing bodies throughout the world into a coherent
network, to facilitate the task of users seeking information on standards and
related activities.
To support the decentralized structure and operation of
WSSN, automated tools are used to the maximum possible. There is no central
WSSN enquiry service in operation, and it is therefore important that users
address enquiries directly to the appropriate information source.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT NO GUARANTEE OF RESPONSE CAN
BE GIVEN FOR INFORMATION ENQUIRIES ADDRESSED TO THE WSSN SITE.
Guidelines for addressing your
enquiries to the best information source
It is suggested that users observe the following guidelines
for addressing enquiries:
- To obtain further information about any particular
topic featured or mentioned on a specific Web site:
Address questions directly to the Web site concerned. The WSSN
structured index Contact information links will assist you
in locating the appropriate address.
- To obtain information on standards, standardization
or related activities, which is not related to any specific site:
Address questions to the national ISO member in your country. Identify the
appropriate member from the listing of national
WSSN members and link to the appropriate home page. Alternatively, if
you already know the ISO member in your country, it is possible to link directly
to the contact information pages of WSSN member sites through the WSSN
structured index.
Should your country not be listed among national WSSN members, it may simply mean that the ISO member does not have a Web site. Check the ISONET Directory and/or the country listing of all ISO members on the ISO Online Web site.
Should your country not appear in either of the above listings, go to the contact page of the ISO/IEC Information Centre site.
